Gerrells Sports Center has been a cornerstone of Grand Forks athletics for decades. What started as a local sporting goods shop has grown into a trusted resource for athletes, teams, schools, and organizations across the region.

Opening our doors in 1972, Gerrells Sports Center specialized in team and retail sales. In 1987, Gerrells Sports Center opened Hockey World and doubled its already large inventory of hockey and figure skates and equipment.
Gerrells Sports Center introduced “skate leasing” to the area in 1989. Skate customers have embraced this unique service and lease over 1,600 pair annually. These customers are found in 10 different states and two Canadian provinces. Skate leasing has created a huge inventory of reconditioned skates.
Gerrells Sports Center takes pride in working with outstanding NCAA collegiate programs at the University of North Dakota, Bemidji State University, and Concordia College. Junior hockey league teams in the USHL and the NAHL have also turned to us for equipment and services.
